Realme 11 5G Review: Best review with pros and cons

Priced at ₹ 18,999, the Realme 11 5G lies within the largely competitive mid-segment of the Indian smartphone request. It faces competition from companies like OnePlus, which is offering phones similar to the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite.

Realme just launched an exciting new middle-range phone that’s set to square up against OnePlus’s popular Nord series. The freshly introduced Realme 11 5G takes the number series a notch higher for this Chinese brand, which boasts a whopping 36 million users in India.

Realme 11 5G comes in various shades, but the Glory Gold option is simply a head-turner. Imagine this – a soft shimmer dancing on its back as it catches the light. Now that’s sure to make you stand out.

What really stands out in the latest Realme design are the flat edges. Not only do they give the phone an extra style point, but they also make you feel confident and secure using the phone even without a protective case.

Meet the Realme 11’s New Unique Camera: Realme has a delightfully innovative way of designing its camera. Their special touch? They put two camera sensors in a cool circular cutout and placed it at the top left corner. It’s a really clever approach that doesn’t just look fantastic but works really well too.

This design may remind you of the Realme Narzo series, and that’s true to an extent. However, Realme 11 decided to switch things up a bit, keeping the circular cutout but placing it on the top left. This creative change results in an interesting yet balanced asymmetry.

When you flip to the bottom, it’s got the USB Type-C charging port. That’s not all, it also has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a speaker grill. Just a heads up though, the Realme 11 5G model doesn’t come with an IR blaster. Bummer, right? But hey, it’s still a cool phone.

The Realme 11 5G – it’s got a generously sized 6.7-inch IPS LCD screen that boasts a crisp 1080×2400 pixel resolution. Here’s something cool – it has really thin bezels around the display. It’s a minor change but it definitely makes the phone look a lot sleeker.

Plus, you have two options for the screen refresh rate – you can either go with the super smooth 120Hz or stick with the regular 60Hz. And guess what? It supports HDR too. So, whether you’re watching your favourite flicks or the latest Netflix series, your viewing experience will be immersive and cinematic.

The Realme 11 5G is driven by the cool Mediatek Dimensity 6100+ SoC, a new gem in its price range. This little beast has got an octa-core setup (2×2.2 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) under its hood, paired up with Mali-G57 MC2 for smooth silk graphic rendering. To further sweeten the deal, we also have 8GB of RAM and 256GB of ROM packed in.

During our trial run, the Dimensity 6100+ chipset was a dream. It handled everything—from daily tasks to high-intensity apps—like a pro! It gave a snappy and enjoyable user experience. This just goes to show it rightfully deserves a prime spot in the device’s feature lineup.

The Realme 11 5G comes fitted with an impressive 108MP main camera that incorporates f/1.8 aperture and PDAF tech. It also includes a cool 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture to back it up. The main lens captures images with remarkable sharpness, showing great attention to detail.

No matter the setting – be it under the warm sun or discovering beautiful scenery, the colour accuracy is just spot-on. And guess what? The camera is also a pro at capturing skin tones accurately. It may seem like a small detail, but it truly makes a big difference.

Realme 11 camera gives a fairly good performance under low-light conditions. And guess what? It comes with a low-light mode! This feature comes in handy at night, significantly enhancing the image quality while keeping those pesky noise effects under control.

The phone is also equipped with a 2MP depth sensor that does a pretty good job. But that’s not all! The Realme 11 comes with a 16 MP selfie camera, which is more than enough for all your casual selfies and video call needs.

The phone packs a hefty 5,000mAh battery! And guess what, one full charge will get you through an entire day – that’s how amazing it is! And oh, in the box, we found an 80W adapter. This little buddy ensures you can ramp up the battery from flat zero to 100% in just about 34 to 40 minutes.

The Realme 11 5G is a great contender in India’s fiercely competitive mid-range smartphone sector, with a reasonable price tag of ₹18,999. However, it has to square off against strong competition, notably from OnePlus who’s also in the ring with stable phones like the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite.
